'I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want it to end' Liane Moriarty, author of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers

The Man Who Didn't Call by Rosie Walsh is the perfect novel for anyone who's ever waited for a phone call that didn't come.

Imagine you meet a man, spend seven glorious days together, and fall in love. And it’s mutual: you’ve never been so certain of anything.

So when he leaves for a long-booked holiday and promises to call from the airport, you have no cause to doubt him.

But he doesn’t call.

Your friends tell you to forget him, but you know they're wrong: something must have happened; there must be a reason for his silence.

What do you do when you finally discover you're right? That there is a reason – and that reason is the one thing you didn't share with each other?

The truth.

For fans of Jojo Moyes and Liane Moriarty, this is the love story of the year . . .

    Tense & heart warming!
  • Best book I’ve read in a long time

I literally couldn’t put it down. Of course I had the smart idea to start reading it during a very busy week but I still managed to finish it within 4 days as it was obsessing me. The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the story so well written. Full of surprises, yet, highly satisfying! Definitely worth seeing on a screen some day! Highly recommend.
  • Devastatingly Good

I read this in 15 hours with short breaks to feed and water myself whilst on holiday. I started it at 9am poolside and finished it in bed sun burnt. It’s a slow burner and I wouldn’t recommend to someone who wanted a fast paced intense romance or mystery novel, but it was absolutely perfect for me. It’s a holiday book. An escape from reality. I hate stories about romance, I’m a crime or mystery fan, so I was pleasantly surprised at home much this captured my interest and has now left me looking for something similar in the ‘unconventional romance’ category (if that even exists).
  • Good read

Did enjoy this book but if I’m honest after reading the previous reviews it didn’t quite hit my expectations. I loved the sudden twist and there were chapters when I found I couldn’t put the book down.
  • Brilliant twist!

Beautifully written story with many twists!
  • A good book for poolside reading

Read this book yesterday on holiday, good for a poolside read as I like an easy read on holiday. A bit far fetched (I rolled my eyes at some points!) so I’m glad I bought it at the offer price! Took a while to get into & a slow story at first, it didn’t really get going until the last few chapters!
